2025 Conference Justices of the Peace, Magistrates, Pro Tem Judges, Commissioners, Hearing Officers & Court Staff. It’s time to make plans for the 2025 LJJA Conference. We’re excited that our 2025 LJJA Conference will take place September 3rd, 4th, & 5th! Returning to the Prescott Resort & Conference Center, 1500 State Route 69, Prescott, Arizona. HOTEL INFORMATION: There is a room block set up for you: We have reserved rooms in the hotel and have a deadline to book them. You should secure your room as soon as possible. We are taking the biggest part of the hotel, so please get your reservations in early. Contact the Prescott Resort at 1-800-967-4637 for reservations, and ask for the Limited Jurisdiction Judges Association room block at the rate of $141 (regular room) or $161 (suite), plus tax per night single occupancy. Check in time at hotel is 3 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 am. The hotel will also let you reserve your room for up to (3) days prior to the conference and (3) days after for the Labor Day Weekend at the group rate. The DEADLINE for room Reservation is August 8, 2025. After August 8th, the availability of hotel rooms cannot be guaranteed. About our 2025 Conference programming: This years agenda is listed at the bottom. Our education tracks are better than ever!! We have focused on a time of change - from Leaders to Rules and everything in between. There are several great plenary sessions, the first headlined by Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Ann Timmer. We have a solid track of classes geared for JP's, Magistrates, Pro Tem’s, other Judicial Officers and Court Staff on subjects like Records Requests, Case Processing Time Standards, Social Media Activity, MAS, Tribal Courts, and of course Ethics, Case Laws and Rules. We are excited to offer again this year another track for anyone who wishes to refresh their general knowledge on Evictions, IA/Arraignments, Small Claims, Civil Traffic and Protective Orders. This track is especially helpful for your Pro Tem’s and Hearing Officers. Remember, your Staff Members need COJET credit too! We have an entire track for Court Staff, including topics ranging from Legal Advice v. Legal Information to MVD and DPS Reporting, from Minimum Accounting Standards to Court Records.
